Voltz Energy Shot is a small 60ml energy drink that gives a 5-hour energy boost through B-Vitamins and Amino acids, i drink it before sport/exercise to give me a boost, due to the ingredients though, it's probably good to take after instead, the vitamins and amino acids can speed recovery time and it'd stop you feeling tired after exercising.

Energy drinks have stuff like caffine to give you energy to be more awake and more enrgized. Sports drinks such as gatorade gives your body back all the water and salt it looses when you play sports. No i don't belive there is a car that runs on those two drinks.
References :
Energy Drink - Contains caffeine and simple sugars. Caffeine can be in the form of caffeine or guarana, a natural source of caffeine. Usually they contain between 60mg to 80mg of caffeine per serving (1 mug regular coffee). To stimulate your body by means of caffeine, and give you temporary mental alertness and physical stamina.

Sports drink - Contains simple sugars and electrolytes (potassium, sodium, magnesium to name a few)and sometimes vitamins. To replenish your body with fluids as well as electrolytes. It is important as pure water alone will not do the trick. Especially Sodium! Over exercising and too much pure water with no replenishment of electrolytes can lead to involuntary muscle spasms and to a greater extent coma and death (desalination). You can also get your elec. Through a proper balanced diet.
References :
Sports drinks contains sodium (salt) that is used to replenish the salt that is lost during increased sweat. Energy drinks contain energy replenishing ingredients such as gensing, which is common in the mountain dew energy drink, that revitalizes your body and gives you energy.
References :
A sports drink is meant to replenish essential nutrients that you have lost while doing strenuous exercise.

An energy drink (caffeine) is meant to give you a boost of energy, not replenishing anything.

A hybrid of the two might be useful for the end of a long game or activity, but downright awful results for any other time.
References :
energy drinks usually have caffeine in them , sports drinks are filled with vitamins, and electrolytes, but both do have sugar.
i haven't heard of anyone putting both together, but i did hear of alcoholic energy drinks coming out. Pink, which has vodka in it and B to the E which had Budweiser in it.
References :
usually a energy drink has allot of sugar in it to keep you up and moving. A sports drink is a type of drink that re hydrates you when you are working hard, such as playing a sport. Kind of like water.
References :
Energy drink is mainly water, sugar and caffeine. Sports drink has less sugar plus electrolytes to replace the ones you might have lost due to sweating.
