Many sports and health drinks often contain too much added sugar, but are very good a replacing the essential minerals and salt used up in strenous exercise. My son plays ice hockey, and burns off a lot of calories in such a short space of time, as well as getting dehydrated from the amount of sweat the games produces. On the bench only water is offered in their bottles but are advised after their game to have a sports drink.

water!! It’s natural, of course (well, sorta). the only good thing that sports drinks have that it doesn’t is electrolights. they have to replenish you faster after a workout (when you lose the most sodium).

Energy Drinks…they have artificial nutrients. Unless you take hard water, I’d go 4 the sports & energy drinks. Better still, take milk instead.
