I was very excited to try this drink. I’d heard good things about it, despite the fact that most people thought it looked disgusting. And it has lots of iron, which I’m deficient in.
I tried it cold first. Bad idea. The drink is thicker than I thought, and for some reason the combination of fruit punch flavor and drink thickener didn’t sit well with me. I tried it warm next. Didn’t take very long to heat up. It was a bit better. Still too thick for a fruit punch drink. As weird and disgusting as it may seem to some people, if they had made it taste like blood instead, it would have been a whole lot better.
This is great for the novelty of it, but it could definitely be better.

I am madly in love with this product. I love the look, the package – everything. Like most engergy drinks – doesn’t really turn me on – but I can see this as a great halloween gift, hangover cure gift and a humorous mixer for cocktails at parties. the packaging is a hoot – full of scary goodness.
A MUST FOR EVERY HALLOWEEN PARTY – GET WELL GIFT etc!

I had seen and heard about this and finally bought one. To me it tasted a lot like those Flintstones vitamins a lot of us had when we were kids. They were sweet but had that iron-like aftertaste. It may sound unpleasant but it really does taste fairly good. It has instructions to heat it up if you prefer a warm liquid (I myself didn’t have issue with it drinking it cold). I will agree with others, it is a little thick for a fruit-punch flavored drink but it is still enjoyable. I don’t know that I’d have it every day but I do definitely plan on nabbing a few more of these ^_^!

As far as energy drinks go, three things I care about, taste, energy, packaging.
Taste is okay. High iron content. High iron taste.
Energy seemed to be about average. Decent, no sugary high, so no sugary crash.
Packaging is awesome. Just well thought out, makes you laugh, lightens your day.

First, I’m not going to review the taste of this blood pouch because it was such a fun/special gift that my friend refused to open and drink it. However, I think it has greater value for display than being used for its real purpose.
The package is about the size of the actual pouch they use in the blood drives. The instructions are very humorous. The bloody fingerprints almost look real. I kinda wish they will make a variety of packs with different blood types but it only comes in type B – so know if your giftee can accept type B before you make the purchase.
Recommend for anybody who think he/she is a vampire or is crazy about the vampire shows.
