basically all the sports energy drinks are for is to replenish the minerals lost from your body through sweat
you need key metal ions for your body to keep producing energy under high demand, for example when exercising.
really all sports drinks like gatorade are are simply water, falvoring,an some salts, (different types) NaCl, and K based salts and some fructose./ glucose syrups because your cells need them to convert energy,
for most people your body’s storage is enough.
they also contain some carbs and monosaccarhides (sugars)
for quick supplements of energy.
but for most people, it isn’t much different than water.
it is only useful in prolonged sports activities
like three hour football games.
